Token vesting
Team or investor tokens that unlock over time: an optional cliff, then a steady release. Up to 50 people per batch, signed in your own wallet.
Test network for now. The launch tools currently run on the BNB Smart Chain Testnet, so you can try every step with free test tBNB, which has no value. Tokens, locks and vestings for real BNB aren't available yet.
How it works
- Connect your wallet and choose the token.
- Add each person's wallet and amount, then the start date, the cliff and the total duration (up to 10 years).
- Approve the exact total (never unlimited) and sign. Each step shows a plain-English summary first.
- Each person gets their own vesting wallet, and can claim released tokens whenever they like.
Cost
A platform fee of 0.03 tBNB per batch plus network gas, paid in the same transaction. The fee is read live from the contract.
Good to know
- Each vesting is a minimal copy of OpenZeppelin's VestingWalletCliff, unmodified. Its code can never change.
- ClearDex never holds your tokens or keys.
- To lock liquidity instead, use the liquidity lock.
Questions and answers
- What is token vesting?
- Tokens for a team member or investor are held in a vesting wallet and become available over time instead of all at once. Buyers can see that these tokens can't be sold on day one.
- How does the release work?
- Nothing is released before the cliff ends (you can set no cliff). At the cliff, everything vested since the start becomes available at once; after that, the rest is released steadily until the end. The person can claim what has been released at any time.
- Can a vesting be cancelled?
- No. Once created, nobody can cancel it or take the tokens back, including you and ClearDex. Released tokens always go to the person it was made for.
- How many people at once?
- Up to 50 people per batch, each with their own vesting wallet and amount, for one platform fee.
- Does ClearDex's score count it?
- Tokens in a ClearDex vesting are left out of the holder concentration check, except the part that can already be released, which counts as the person's own.
