Short version: ClearDex has no accounts, no cookies, no ads and no tracking or analytics scripts. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our server records each request: your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser's user-agent text. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure (for example to apply rate limits and stop abuse). They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Rate-limit counters. To stop overload, we count requests per IP address for one minute at a time. The counters expire on their own within two minutes.
- Your theme choice (dark or light) is saved in your own browser's storage. It never leaves your device.
- Telegram bot. If you message @cleardexbot, Telegram passes us your chat ID and your messages. We use them only to answer you and to apply per-user limits, which are kept in memory and not stored.
- Email. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can answer.
What we don't do
- No cookies, no advertising, no analytics or tracking scripts, no selling or sharing of data.
- Fonts and all scripts are served from our own domain, so your browser doesn't contact third parties when you load a page.
- We never ask for, see or store wallet private keys or seed phrases.
Service providers
Traffic to ClearDex passes through Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site and processes your IP address to do so (see Cloudflare's privacy policy). Our server is hosted by InterServer in the United States.
Your rights and contact
Because we have no accounts, we usually can't link log entries to a person. If you have a question or request about your data, email [email protected]. If this policy changes, the date at the top will change.
